Extending the Federation

Government is the first large-scale reference domain we have developed using the 3D Federated Software Architecture. We can use that experience to develop other domains.

 

Healthcare is the next planned domain. It can reuse 3D Core and add its own Healthcare Domain Core. Where healthcare and government need to share information, compatible definitions can allow their systems to participate in the same federation.

 

Municipal and education models can follow the same approach. Each domain can be deployed independently and share the information it has in common with others.

 

As we add domains, we can also bring information from them together for analysis.
